Sold my iPhone 12 Pro Max to BlueChipCelular.com for $357 on 12/20/2024. Never receive any payment for the phone. Sent multiple reminders via email to Victor Barrera between 1/6/2025 and 6/30/2025. Victor gave many excuses and promised payment in the next 24-48 hours, but it never happened. Called BlueChipCelular multiple times between 5/27/25 and 6/23/25, went into voice message or voicemail not set up. Noticed that the BlurChipCelular.com site has been taken down on 7/6/2025.

Still No Payment After Delivered Phone – Poor Experience
I shipped my iPhone 15 Pro Max to Blue Chip Celular on May 1st, and tracking confirms it was delivered on May 5th at 10:25 AM. The original offer was $728, but on May 29th, they claimed the phone had scratches—which it did not—and lowered the offer to $655.
It’s now been over 10 days since the new agreement, and I still haven’t received the payment. I’ve reached out several times and have been completely ignored. At this point, the experience feels dishonest and unprofessional.
If I don’t receive payment or a response soon, I’ll be filing a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I do not recommend doing business with this company based on my experience.

Just like the newest reviews they stole my phone. I sent my phone in March and they tried to give me way lower. I been emailing them asking them to give me my phone back since. It's 3 months and he told me he was gonna get the tracking info and has since ignored me. I will update the rest of you guys soon but I have the police involved with theft of a phone and Im in the same state as this company so I told them in two weeks if I get no response I will move forward with it.

100% stole my phone
100% stole my phone. I mailed my phone in around mid April. They confirmed it was received April 27th. Didn't hear anything so reached out May 12th asking for an update. The owner Victor Barrera responded saying they received it but the battery health was not great so my offer would be revised, no problem, agreed and asked them to mail funds. Heard nothing, followed up May 22nd. He responded saying they were "going thru a rough patch" which was concerning but gave the benefit of the doubt. Nothing, followed up May 30th which got no response. Send a demand on June 6th for immediate payment or returning my property by end of day. I followed up end of day that I have located his personal information and would be filing a police report and contact his family and friends. That did nothing. Total scam artist.

Unprofessional and stealing phones
Asking all that this company has ripped off to contact IC3 to file a complaint. BlueChip received my iPhone 16promax 06/03/25 today is 06/24/25 as of today I have not been paid for my phone and waiting for a response from them.They did message me like 4 days ago with lower offer (650) but I refused the low offer . As of 06/24/25 no communication . My iPhone 16promax was purchased by me in November 2024. It is like new. The original offer from them 840+. I'm getting ready upset with this . One month later in March I got a response that Trumps tariffs were causing an issue. Got more excuses til April, when I received half my payment. It’s now end of may and more excuses since then. Delays in staffing, delays in funds, last update was 5/23 with more excuses, but on the books to get paid. Slowest company that I have ever worked with. Use caution if you ever send them your electronics!!

If I could give this company zero stars I would! This company is incredibly unprofessional, their lack of communication is ridiculous. They don’t respond to emails and you can never get anyone on the phone either. I sent in two iPhones and IPhone 13 Pro and an iPhone 12. They have had my iPhone for 3 months now and I have still not received payment for them. I have requested multiple times that my phone be sent back to me and they have refused to do so insisting that I’ll receive payment for them in the next round of payments but that has yet to happen. I would recommend avoiding this company and going elsewhere..

I sold my iPhone 14 Pro Max to this company at the end of March, and they never sent me the money for the phone; aka they stole my phone. They stopped responding to my emails. I reported them to the FBI (IC3) and FTC. Do NOT do any business with this fraudulent "business" - as a side note, probably best to avoid doing business with any company that cannot even spell the name of their official business correctly ("celular").

SCAM! Don't do business with this company, they have already been sued by the State of Texas under a different company's name. They take your phone and either pay you half of what they promise or don't pay you at all and completely ignore you. Do your research people! All the good reviews are them writing them pretending to be someone else.

This is a scam business
This is a scam business. They have kept my phone and have not paid me, nor responded to several follow-up emails or by phone. They will quickly send you the shipping label and correspond by email with courtesy in the beginning, but then they go dark after sending in your phone despite their promise to pay. Scam!
5/13/2025 Update: their run-arounds continue. See latest email thread below with me asking them several days ago for an update, with no response. They have effectively stolen my iPhone. This is for an order placed on 3/24 nearly 2 months ago. 0 star-rating if possible, this is NOT a trustworthy business.

“I apologize for the delay — we did get backed up. However, rest assured that we’re just waiting on a transfer to complete. I’ve been notified that it should be in within approximately 4 business days.

I HAVE STILL NOT BEEN PAID
2ND UPDATE: 9:54 PM on May 11th and I have not been contacted again since they asked me to remove my review in exchange for payment. I have not been paid.
Update: The company reached out after seeing this review and apologized for the delay. They offered to pay me that day (Friday May 2nd) with an additional 5 percent on top. I agreed and awaited payment. As of today 5/7 12:34 pm I have not been paid or received any additional communication
Blue Chip Celular has been in possession of my two phones (iPhone 14 pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max) for 92 days.
I sent them the phones in response to a quote I received and in exchange for the phones they were to provide me with 992 dollars.
Since their receipt of the phones they have given multiple excuses as to why they cannot fulfill my payment such as a death in the family, workers are on spring break, new legislation that makes it difficult for them to receive transfers and funds and thus, cannot pay their clients.
I have asked repeatedly for them to send the phones back if they do not have the funds to pay for the transaction. They have not sent the phones back.
One month after receipt of my phones they sent me a partial payment of 300 dollars.
After another month and a half of no payment I started copying my lawyer on the email exchanges with the company. They sent me a second partial payment of 300 dollars.
Since then they have not responded to a single email or text that I have sent requesting updates on the status of my final payment(s). I have been effectively “ghosted”
Today is the 92nd day in which they have been in possession of my phones without having paid the transaction in full.
