Do I feel welcome?

The Presentation, quality and look of the watch is1st class. Do I feel welcomed into the family of Baume et Mercier?
I have bought into this company with my first purchase of a Baume et Mercier watch, but what do I expect?
At the least I expected that I could register the watch with the company, that they would give me some feeling of being welcomed into their family of owners, but no.
Having purchased a Tissot watch at the same time, I registered my watch and felt that I had some security knowing they had a record of my purchase as well as the distributer.
I know that this is minor, and the main concern that most people will have is, does it work, is it of excellent quality, is of course true, but when buying into a prestige brand, I feel as though I was second class because I didn't pay another £10,000.
Talking to the customer service, he just apologised and said, "sorry"!
Even a welcome email would have been nice.

I have had numerous issues with a watch…

I have had numerous issues with a watch i bought from TIC watches. They were unwilling to resolve the problem so I emailed the manufacturer with the issues. They have been fantastic!! they understood the problems in full and have resolved matters to my satisfaction. I would say that if leaving a review for Baume et Mercier repairs it is actually a company called Swissmade in the UK not the manufacturer. I can't fault the service i have received from the Baume et Mercier Swiss head office.

Absolutely shocking service from B&M

Absolutely shocking service from B&M. My watch was sent to B&M in May for a battery, reseal and new strap. The jeweller I used (Ernest Jones, who haven’t covered themselves with glory either) chased B&M at my request in August as nothing had been heard, only to be told that it would be another 4-5 months before the work could be completed! A later update put the return date in January. I’m hoping I’ll get my watch back within the year, but I’m not holding my breath….!

Don’t buy a B&M watch until they’ve sorted out their after sales service problems.
