There were no fees with a Fair account (transaction or otherwise), so you might be mistaking us for a different business. Fair was closed in December of 2022.

Wealth Building Account has paid…

Wealth Building Account has paid consistently at 4% interest but otherwise it has been a poor experience.

I have experienced lots of problems signing on and receiving the email/text codes.

Costumer service agents have poor spoken English and speak too fast on top it.

And their spoken manners are on the rude side.

Money transfers take forever and you are severely limited with the amount.

Overall it has been a less than stellar experience.

Your gung ho bank pulled the rug out from under on everyone and is forcing us to close our accouts.

Yeah that's FAIR alright!

It's all over folks! Bank is going in a different direction; one that does NOT include us. All accounts need to be closed by 12/20/22.

Best halal Bank All Around

I hope this service doesn’t come to an end. I get money earlier than my JP Morgan bank, higher halal dividend payments, simple User Interface, all around a great service

The % yield is good

The % yield is good. The app experience and website experience are poor.

Should not take 5 days to transfer funds from banks into the app and vice versa

Always very responsive and helpful. Enjoy all of the perks of banking with fair. There have been hiccups along the way (app bugs and no integration with 3rd party apps), but that’s to be expected with a new bank and they’ve been fixing everything quickly to ensure that their experience is not just on par with big banks, but way better.

I highly recommend this bank

I used promo code SB50 during signup. It was forthcoming as it stated "You will receive a deposit of $50 after you fund your Wealth Building Account with a minimum of $100 and maintain that balance for 30 consecutive days." No problems. I am also earning 4% interest. I also like that it has the ability to temporary suspend your debit card. Thanks again.

App is horrendous to use

App is horrendous to use. If you start a transfer the transfer takes forever going in or out. Way longer than a couple days. What's the most annoying is you'll schedule a transfer and then it doesn't show up in pending after a day. It's just gone. I tried to transfer money to Fair and nothing transferred at all. I had to call in to make sure the transfer was even going through as only they could see it. The first transfer worked. Second one did not for some reason and the app doesn't show anything so at this point I'm out. If the app doesn't work well and the layout is garbage then I'm not going to move my savings to your account. Just doesn't give me a warm and fuzzy feeling when I can't see where my money is in the process. I also can't ever seem to call anyone. Everytime I click call customer service in the app it says nobody is available no matter what time it is. Closing my account today.

Kyle - sorry to hear about your frustrating experience. A future version of the app will show pending transfers. Also, when in the app, on the customer service screen, the "Speak with us" function doesn't work yet, but at the bottom of the screen is our 800 number which customers can click to call. We are aware of these issues and are working to address them, but certainly understand your frustration.

If I invest in $70 and the Balance is $1700 on the payout. Is the payout balance for one month or the whole year? Please explain the chart on the home page. Thanks.

How long does it take to get significant income in wealth spending account? I got very little dividends distributed within the last two months. I am disappointed in the outcome of monthy dividends. Is the chart on the site monthly or yearly investments? Please explain. Thanks for your time and consideration

Quincy -
I think you are confusing the account balance (which is the amount of money you personally deposited, plus any earned dividends - shown at the bottom of the chart) with the dividend payment (the amount you earn monthly - shown at the top left of the chart). The Wealth Building Account pays a 4% annual dividend (or annual percentage yield / APY). The chart indicates "Your first year's dividend" in the upper left corner. This is the dividend you receive based on your balance (bottom of the chart, labeled My Account Balance). Your monthly dividend distribution is your balance X 4% divided by 12 months. If your account balance is $1000 for an entire month, you will receive a dividend payment of $3.33. The second month your balance will be $1003.33 and you will receive a slightly higher dividend because your balance has increased. It continues to compound in this way. If you deposit $10,000 your monthly dividend will be $33.33 the first month. The rate is the same for all customers. The higher your balance, the more income you will receive.

Amazing Benefits

Bank with Fair is the only Bank I have found that offers a 4% dividend per month on your savings account. Along with the high savings return, the free international transfers and waived atm fees are very beneficial. I recently opened my account with Fair and the transition has been seamless. The one on one customer service offered is tremendous. I look forward to working with them for a long time.

I cannot see why people would not take advantage of the high interest rate offer. No institution has anything like this even in locked CD's. It's also a huge plus to talk to someone alive and not a chat that replies with basic answers. Using this account at international level is also another attractive point.

Absolute professionalism!

Nothing but absolute professionalism. It was a pleasure working with the representative, via chat, who was extremely patient and considerate by providing additional resources.
