Flowers for my daughter…

While my daughter did receive the flowers I ordered for her birthday, they were far less in quality for the charge of $105. Within two days a third of the alstroemeria were wilted and for the price I expected more roses - there were 8. The entire bouquet arrived in a vase the size of a softball.

If I lived in the area I could have paid $50 at a grocery store and received more than what you provided. In fact, I ordered flowers for another daughter out east from Olympia Flowers for $80 and received so much more. Sadly, that florist does not do business in Washington.
As stated in an earlier review, (this is now my third review), I purposely use local businesses, rather than large companies like Amazon and the like. I prefer local and possibly family owned - but in this case I was surely duped. I have bought flowers in the past from your company and the quality have decreased to now this sad state of affairs.
The flowers that I selected for my daughter would have been a nice touch and addition to another gift I sent, but you took that away… The day is gone and we are both disappointed.
Life has many disappointments - this is a fallen world… even when trying to give a nice gift.

Misleading delivery options til after order placement

Avas was out of products in the order and had to substitute. Because of substitution the ballons I ordered were not included and even though I used the free delivery coupon I paid for same day delivery before 2 pm. The order was not delivered until 10 something the on the 25th, the following day. Had I known before hand that the delivery was through UPS and delivered in a plain brown box I would not have used this service. The arrangement sat on a receiving dock for two days and didn't get received to the intended party till they were questioned two days later about getting their "surprise" birthday delivery. Although the arrangement sitting in the box, in a receiving dock was not totally Avas' fault, I feel had it been delivered by a local florist this could have been avoided.

Not a happy birthday

Their website said same day delivery available. Delivered the next day, which was not her birthday. Main reason I used them was same day delivery. I ordered and paid for a balloon. She never received a balloon. And the delivery person made her feel very uncomfortable. Will never use them again.
