!!! AN EVIL ENTERPRISE!!!

THIS COMPANY IS AN EVIL ENTERPRISE! I HAD A STORE CREDIT OF $3,000 which they didn’t tell me I needed to use before they closed up shop and simply created a new company called, Polished!!! I LOST $3,000 WHICH THEY STOLE FROM ME!!! Their customer service SUCKS and is provided by insensitive, deplorable behaving Eastern Europeans who have no idea how to provide excellent service! Their supervisor, Nato N., was a nightmare stringing me along constantly without any care as to how I was feeling about the crappy ILVE stove I bought from them. She would not allow me to speak directly with her manager. I begged her to give me my money back and they only allowed store credit while they were going to shut down anyway! They never planned on telling customers to use up their credit! The other manager, Anthony Sarno, was pathetic and did not care about customers! These people probably transferred over to the new Polished company and are going to offer the same crap service! BUYER BEWARE! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED THIS COMPANY IS SPAWNED FROM UNETHICAL THIEVES!!!

This company is a fraudulent scam.

Just found out today that Appliance Connection shut their business down suddenly and filed bankruptcy. I received the bankruptcy notice yesterday 3/19/24. I tried to contact them today in regards to the washer/dryer set I ordered a month ago and had not received. There is no one to get a hold of, I feel devasted and so shocked and upset. I'm in the process now of working with my credit card to have the $2300.00 I was charged reversed but the informed me this could take several weeks. I'm so sorry I went with this company. I think I'm still in a state of shock about what is happening to me financially and the washer and dryer that I was so looking forward to doesn't even exist.

Appliance Connection Bankrupt with Zero Notification

Just learned through Reddit thread that Appliances Connection is now out of business. Bought three appliances from this company since November 2023 -- all delivered. Then I ordered a high end range three times in January 2024. The first two orders -- on sale -- were cancelled and I was told the item had been discontinued in the color I wanted. Changed colors again and ordered another not on sale for nearly 10K on Jan 10. After not hearing from AC after multiple inquiries, today I called credit card company (Chase) and asked them to reverse charge -- they said a decision will be made in 7 biz days. Now ordering an appliance from another company who says they won't deliver for 12 weeks -- screwed on my kitchen renovation timeline. Appliances Connection could have at least notified me of bankruptcy so I would not be scrambling to replace this product or dealing with dead warranties for other products. :(

5 stars for efficiency and customer service - highly recommend

We contacted Appliance Connection randomly after doing an internet search. We worked with representative Danielle Coleman who made the process seamless, easy and super efficient in meeting our needs. We had ordered our dream stove in a quick manor after she had carefully answered all our questions and walked us though each step. Amazing customer service. We will be returning to Appliances Connection for all our appliance needs in the future.

I purchased a mixer from company on…

I purchased a mixer from company on February 29th; did not receive product before company went out of business. Their website no longer is operational and redirected to investor.polished.com. I have not received a refund for my purchase and there is no way to contact the company.

Save yourself the headache

I would definitely consider going with a more trustworthy/well-known company. If you are going to go with them, quadruple check that the appliances are available for delivery in your state/area.

My partner and I just bought a new place in Chicago and purchased an appliance package from Appliances Connection. The house is a gut rehab and we no longer have any of the original appliances, so we scheduled the delivery a couple weeks in advance to our moving date.

The day we moved in, I checked the delivery status of the appliances and it said to contact customer service. When I called, they informed me that the branch that services Chicago had closed and we would not be receiving any of the appliances. They suggested I call my bank and dispute the charges.

I don’t know if this is typical procedure with these sorts of companies, but it seemed pretty bogus to cancel the order and not even offer to refund it. They also didn’t warn me ahead of time, I was the one who had to contact them to find out that the order I had scheduled 2 weeks prior was never going to come in the first place.

All I’m saying is like, just spend the extra couple hundred bucks and go to Costco, Sam’s club, Home Depot or something 🤣

Appliances Connection went out business…

Appliances Connection went out business the same day my order was scheduled to be installed. The delivery company said all assets of the company were seized due to a court ordered bankruptcy. The delivery company said they are not allowed to deliver my oven. Are you kidding me? I had to call the police, my attorney and the AGs office for Oregon. This is horrible! I paid for the merchandise but they can keep my money? Nope! Do not use this company!

Celia was wonderful in customer service. I had numerous contacts with her about several delivery issues that. took place when I had a washer and dryer delivered to my sister. She had a sympathetic ear and assured me the complaint was sent to the Cartier for follow up. A BIG thank you to Celia.

Daniele was my salesperson and she is the nicest person you could ever talk to. She is soft spoken but she communicates clearly and precisely with zero surprises. Every question was answered to my satisfaction and I felt no pressure at all. I actually hung up when done but then called back half an hour later to place my order.
