I scheduled an appointment at my local dermatologist, long story short my insurance wouldn’t cover the topical prescription and it was $1400 out of pocket/month. So I thought I’d try this website and... See more

Horrible. Took the quiz, was prescribed a generic medication. Decided to try it out, product arrived in a tiny container, which cost almost $100. Worth it if it worked. Also, the tiny container contai... See more

Upgrade of the earlier review of the 10th May. I am totally delighted that the delicate brass flower for pot plants are now in my hands in 100% condition. The Founder, Jenny was both caring and attentive when I reported how saddened I had been when the first set were delivered damaged, rendering them impossible to give as a gift. I am now one happy gifter. Thank you for both the speed and efficiency.

Too costly long term opposed to a regular derm visit

At first I thought it was awesome but the thing is it only seems awesome because of the cheap price to send photos to a physician for 3 month supply of tretinoin. That is until you realize that you're not going to go through with three month supply in 3 months, it's going to last probably longer than 6 months and you can try to postpone the recurring 3 month charge but then you find out that tretinoin is around $25 self pay with any pharmacy so if you just act as a self-pay patient or go through insurance with a normal dermatologist in the long run it's a lot cheaper. Also I'm dealing with perioral dermatitis and requested a follow-up and was told that any medication would be required to have yet again a 3-month supply. The treatment is certain steroids and antibiotics. Why would I need a 3-month supply at a minimum of $75 per prescription when most antibiotics are free at any Publix or $4 anywhere else? I went on their site to just completely cancel any future orders and saw that they are closing down and I am relieved

Neat

It’s only been two weeks so far but I can definitely feel an overall improvement in my skin. I haven’t experienced any of the side effects so that’s a bonus

Defective Product

The airless pump does not work and there is no other way to get the product out. For how much you pay, you would think you’d get a product that actually works. Reached out to them via their contact page and they haven’t emailed me back.

Avoid at all costs

You will be given a questionnaire. The virtual 'dermatologist' will give you a treatment plan consisting of overpriced products and prescriptions. You will never actually speak to someone. This is a grift.

Amazing!!!

Amazing. I doubted it but honestly easy and great customer service. Fast delivery. Got what I needed to clear my acne and didn’t have to go find a dermatologist in person. Highly recommend.

Not sure yet but I started the medication and topical yesterday and today was my 2nd day and it looks worse than the 1st day. I thought this medication would start working immediately not make it worse. This stuff looks ugly.

My rosacea cleared up nicely using medication through Apostrophe after years of spending so much time and money at local dermatologists. They've always made it a quick and easy process for me. No complaints. I love them!

Prescribed a Harmful Medication

I, male 21 years old, reached out to a dermatologist from Apostrophe for hormonal acne treatment. The dermatologist that put together my treatment plan prescribed me oral Spironolactone, and for those that don't know, this medication is an anti-androgen, meaning males should not be taking it because it basically destroys testosterone. It was not explained to me that this medication was an anti-androgen until after I had already paid the $200+ for the entire treatment order. I googled the medication for myself only to learn it would be harmful for me to take. After reaching out about getting the order cancelled, my request was ignored and instead I was removed from the system entirely. They cancelled my treatment plan altogether but would not refund me for the order I already placed and wouldn't cancel the order. After reaching out to the customer support email multiple times, I never got a response. This absolutely felt like medical malpractice. One quick google search shows that this medication should not be taken by males. I also reached out to my primary care provider about it as well to see if maybe it would be okay and she as well told me to not take the medication because it would be harmful. I lost $200+ for this.
