Ridiculous Shipping Costs

I was going to buy a 500W solar panel from this company, but the product says minimum order of 2 units, so I emailed customer support to see if they would sell just 1, as that's all I need for my van. They responded and told me there will be shipping costs, but also palletization costs of €25.

After multiple emails back and forth, as they were not answering my questions, I was requested to open an account on their website and they will add a quote.

I finally got a quote and the solar panel is €84.39, but the shipping cost is €60.08 and some charge called "WEEE" for €0.60. So total €145.07.

The shipping fee is ridiculous, especially when other sellers use DB SCHENKER for €40, or Kuehne Nagel for €30. I asked if they can use Kuehne Nagel, but they didn't answer.

I also asked, "how is the delivery €65.08 when your website says delivery is €50.83 for 2 panels"?. Again, no answer.

I love this company

I love this company. I've purchased 7 solar panels from them over the past 2 years and all purchases went smoothly. One the 2 occasions that I've had to contact them I received a prompt reply. Best of all, their prices are very reasonable and their discounts are very attractive. I just wish their delivery charges were a bit lower, but I guess solar panels are big and heavy so I suspect the charges are justified.
