I can't praise or thank Allara enough. I'm sorry for the lengthy post.
I had Kaiser insurance and went to the Doctor because I knew something was wrong, I just didn't know what. I had basic bloodwork done and told everything was normal- it was - but the Doctor didn't attempt anything else, just chalked me up to being a woman in her mid 30's... I went back to a different Doctor at Kaiser, re-explained all my symptoms and she ran more thorough bloodwork, which came back abnormal. Yet, she claimed everything was normal and that she would speak with the, specialist- an Endocrinologist to see what they said. She claimed the Endo said everything was normal and they wouldn't see me.
Oh yeah, I was maaaad.
When I specifically asked her "Okay then why is this test high, why is this test way low, etc, and you're claiming it's normal!?" She had the gall to tell me I should reach out to a hormone specialist. Umm, that's what an Endocrinologist is. Smh. So, now with zero faith in the Doctors at Kaiser, I googled "hormone specialist out of pocket" and came across Allara!
Making an appt was fast and easy!
In less than 15 minutes, Brynn Whitworth listened to me, called for bloodwork, and from that bloodwork found the answers I've been searching for, for over a year and half. Now we have a plan, and I have a Doctor who not only listened to me but has taken the time to educate me and reassure me. Thank you so, so much.
If your Doctor isn't listening, Allara will!

This appt was disappointing. Neely didn't dive deep into my regular diet or exercise routine and straight away jumped to the conclusion that my food habits were bad. The intake form asked what I had for meals recently to which I responded with a chicken-beef-veggie soup and prior to that an okra stir fry with a small side of rice. Just based on that she said my current food habits were a mess and needed a lot of work. She didn't say why she felt that that or even ask what went into these dishes. And I specified that I don't eat the same thing everyday - I have a rotation of recipes through the week which we didn't even go into. I would recommend getting a more indepth understanding - ask a little more about the actual recipe, the macro and micro nutrients before assuming.

Allara is providing a great service for women's health. Since I meet remotely with my providers, this simplifies my life and maintains my privacy. I am currently meeting monthly with my dietician, Melaynia, and my doctor Gouri P. They are working in unison to help me get and stay on track to better health.

My provider was incredibly personable and made me feel at ease right away. She shared parts of her own journey, which helped me feel seen and understood. It was comforting to know she’s been a patient herself and has had to advocate for her own health too.
She took the time to walk me through every test she was ordering, explaining what each one was for and what to expect. It wasn’t just a list of labs, it felt like a collaborative, educational experience. She was so thorough and thoughtful throughout the entire appointment.

Competence, professionalism, personable, active listening, decisive, concise yet comprehensive, excellent planning and consideration... This is just from my first appointment! The labs and the workable plan is more in the first visit than any of my in person physicians have afforded my health in many years... And we accomplished that with a half an hour visit! We have a plan and I'm on board!

I didn’t grow up with any education around nutrition and it’s been helpful learning and developing goals and what works for me and my lifestyle. Love the ease of booking and completing appointments from home during the day!

I would never recommend this company. I had a terrible initial appointment. It was a complete waste of time. I’m completely fired up because how they’re handling this situation. They said they would make up for it with another appointment but I ended up just canceling entirely. My initial appointment was about 30 minutes. I left with no answers. No goals. So I just decided to thank them and move on. Then I get a bill sent to me for $120. For what? They tell me it’s for my first initial appointment. I told them the one where I was completely unsatisfied? Yes. That one. No matter what I need to pay that. Crazy. Don’t waste your time. Look up Joi and bloks. Amazing company. Got all the answers I need. Blood work included.

This program has truly changed my life. I’ve lost 20 pounds and continue to make progress—not just on the scale, but in how I understand and manage my body. The combination of personalized guidance, nutrition support, and medical insight has been incredibly empowering. I especially appreciate that the doctor and nutritionist listened and never dismissed my concerns. It’s rare to find healthcare that takes time for you, and this app delivers that. Highly recommend for anyone ready to take control of their health with real support.

Apart from Allara being completing unhelpful and the lady I was working with literally just recommending birth control, there was an attempted charged on my card from them. My subscription has been cancelled for over 2 months and says so when I tried to log back in and contact them.

Working with Kacie Mire has been one of the most affirming experiences I've had in the healthcare space. From our very first session, I felt genuinely heard and supported—something that’s increasingly rare in today’s medical landscape. Too often, women are met with limited understanding from providers who may not be deeply informed on the nuanced issues we face, nor are they there to walk us through the process, but Kacie filled that gap with empathy, expertise, and thoughtful guidance.
Kacie’s compassion and professionalism are truly remarkable. She helped me identify a clear, achievable set of goals tailored specifically to my needs and lifestyle. Perhaps most importantly, she knew when to step in and remind me to be gentle with myself—especially when I slipped into a cycle of overexertion and frustration with my progress. Instead of chasing quick fixes, she encouraged me to adopt sustainable, consistent habits that will serve my long-term health and well-being.
Kacie brings a refreshing sense of humanity to her work. She’s knowledgeable, yes—but also warm, intuitive, and incredibly encouraging. I left every session feeling empowered and more confident in my journey. She’s a standout professional and someone I’d recommend without hesitation!!
