Australian store is useless customer service

I ordered a new pc and it was running great for a month and then randomly stopped working. I dropped it in to a local repair place to diagnose the issue while I tried to get in contact with aftershock. I grabbed the email from their website and sent in what happened. 2 days later got a replay saying it was the wrong email and I should contact the Australia branch?! Didn’t even forward it on or anything just wrong, try again. So I emailed the right email address. 3 days to get a response which asked for the exact same information that I’d included in the original email. Meanwhile I got the diagnosis back from my local repair place and both ram sticks had failed and would need replacing (should be WELL within warranty). I included this in my reply to the latest email. Unsurprisingly absolutely no response 2 days later.
Absolutely horrible, I’ve been too busy to call them during hours as I’m in a seperate state.
From what I can tell the AU store is absolutely useless and just used the good name of the Singapore store and are absolutely ruining it. The Singapore store appears to be actually good but I don’t have much experience with them

Mouse Tracking Issue

I purchased a gaming PC from AFTERSHOCK three years ago. It has worked perfectly until recently when it had a mouse tracking issue. I emailed AFTERSHOCK and they provided me with a range of solutions which unfortunately didn't work. I organised a Technical Support Call and after an hour we had our PC back up and running. I am technological illiterate when is comes to PC's and Dylan was extremely patient and talked me through a number of different solutions. I cannot thank Dylan enough for his exceptional customer service, knowledge and support. He is a credit to the AFTERSHOCK service team.

Just a heads up for anyone thinking of…

Just a heads up for anyone thinking of buying from Aftershock...
My son spent over $3,000 of his own money on what was meant to be his dream gaming PC from Aftershock. After just 3 days of use, the liquid cooler failed. I diagnosed the problem myself, but Aftershock messed around for another 2 days before even organising a courier to send it back.
The PC got to their service centre on the Tuesday after the long weekend. I was told Thursday night that everything had been replaced and fixed (cooler and thermal paste), but then on Friday they told me it “missed the shipment” and wasn’t sent back. Seriously?
This company markets themselves as selling premium gaming machines with top service and support, but the reality is the total opposite when something goes wrong. We were promised fast turnaround and priority repairs if anything ever failed – that clearly doesn’t happen.
What should’ve been an awesome 14th birthday gift for my son has turned into a massive disappointment. He got to use it for 3 days before it died, and now it’s been stuck in Aftershock’s hands for over a week.
Wouldn’t recommend based on this experience. If you’re going to spend thousands, maybe look at a brand that actually cares when things go wrong.
And honestly... why would I even consider spending $5K on my own desktop replacement at the end of this year when this is the outcome of something so simple?
I guess top notch service is only reserved for celebreties who appear in aftershock video clips or one of the many Melenial gamers who havent got a clue about the history of PC gaming.

So I write this review with a heavy…

So I write this review with a heavy heart as I love their products but I feel like there is certainly room for improvement when it comes to support and updates.

I have purchased a custom built laptop approximately a year and half ago and it has been perfect, I have recently had some troubles with it and sent it off for repairs and this was a month ago. At first support was super friendly and quick to help me so we sort it all out, I send it off and quickly receive an update of what went wrong, now here is where a problem arises. I have only recently changed my email address and as I have communicated this when I sent the laptop to get repaired I thought that it would be fine moving forward, I didn’t hear a word for quite some time (a couple weeks) so I followed up and asked for some updates and notified them that I have yet to receive the invoice. I receive an email apologising that they sent it to my old email (which I cannot access) and I completely understand and once I finally received it I payed it off instantly and notifying them that it has been done however it is now 6 days later and still no update. Somewhat irritated at this point as I work FIFO and sent the laptop away expecting to have it back in time for my leave however at this point I am still in the dark as to when I would have it returned to me.

Absolutely impossible Communication

Absolutely impossible with communication when we have had an issue with our daughter’s computer. No way to get straight through to technical support and no replies by email. Left with a non-functioning computer. Whole experience has been stressful. Will also add that they are unapologetic and sarcastic. Added stress where it was not needed. Avoid at all costs!!

I dunno why Aftershock get so many 5…

I dunno why Aftershock get so many 5 stars. My personal opinion for u all to reference.

Customized an all white pc (casing, gpu, MB, choose white braided sleeve cables.. Etc).. Received all white but power cable to gpu is black.....
Me :why?
AS: Looking at the GPU you have chosen, the RTX 5070 Is using the 12V-2x6 connector which the GPU manufacturer to not use any cable extension aside the one provided by them due to potential melting the connector. Hence, the cable connected to the GPU is straight from the PSU as suggested by the manufacturer.
Also as upon checking, the adapter that comes with that comes with the GPU is in black color.
Me: amazon selling can handle up to 600W.
AS: Alright. I just got their feedback on this matter and it seems that they can order a special cable for the GPU connector which we can have the system brought down to the service center and have this braided cable installed. It is basically the 12VHPWR which similar to 12V-2x6 cable in white color.

In short, requested to install on site, rejected. Request to pass me cable I install myself, rejected. Fine... Queried on lead time to bring back install cable. 3biz days.. Bcos need to do full suite of testing on the GPU itself, this is to ensure the connection is proper and no interference , etc ... Need to do benchmark testing as well to ensure the system running well....

Wow. So impressed by the dedication and thoughtfulness. Akin to telling me you change your TV cable need full suite testing. You change your handphone charger cable need full suite testing. You change your laptop charger cable need full suite testing.

I should have juz gone for the cheaper non customized build. But I know it doesn't last. 2nd and possibly last purchase from them. Should have listened to my friends when they recommended MANSA

Great service for a laptop repair

These guys are great! I bought a gaming laptop off them some years ago, and recently the team helped with some minor repairs (due to age). Team was very communicative and helpful & solved all the issues, would definitely recommend purchasing through AfterShock as they have amazing customer service!

Overall, their service was great, and I would definitely recommend them to others.

Aftershock was very patient with me and accommodated my requests for my system when my old one (also from Aftershock) spoilt. The people on chat were very helpful, and the people at the service center, especially Dempster and Joshua, took time out of their busy schedules to help me as well.

When my new build had some issues, they quickly got it delivered over to get it fixed even though they could have waited a while longer so that I can have it working again faster, which I really appreciated.
