Fast service…
Acuity got back to us within a couple days after the storm, then they came out within a couple of days to inspect our house. Within a week or so I got an email saying the check for damages would be mailed to us. Very easy process!

I have been with Acuity for many decades.
I have been with Acuity for many decades and have only had a couple claims, both were handled professionally, fairly and quickly. All the contacts I have had have with questions have also been handled very well. My only concern has been the last three years premium increases have been well above the CPI and inflation. Being a Senior on fixed income that is a concern.

Price increases 20% yearly!
The one claim i had to file since I have been with this company in 2008 was an act of God. Storn, tree landed on roof, now my rates increase 20% yearly i wish I would not have made a claim I've paid for the roof numerous time with my increase. Asap I can get a different insurance company I will. Buyer be aware!

Never received a payment bill and was under the assumption that I was on direct pay. When the deadline came to watch on my credit card for payment, I did not see. I called the office to find out what happened and was told they billed me; however, never received a bill. The Customer Service agent told me it would be $200.00+ to get me back on this insurance. I was never offered any options, other than to pay to keep insurance in place. I have been an excellent customer and would have excepted better service.

I was denied a claim for replacing my roof when everyone around me was getting new roof shingles. I was advised by 4 different roofing contractors to ditch Acuity ASAP because they are one of the worst insurance companies to approve roof replacements and one of the worst to deal with!
