"Free trial" isn't free, hard to cancel

I signed up for TrustPilot just to warn people to avoid this shady business. Everything about my experience with 305fitness (specifically the At Home version) has been horrible.

tl;dr: the website is hard to navigate, the classes are too hard for beginners, they charge you on the first day of the 3-day "free" trial, and make it very difficult to cancel your membership

First, the website is confusing and difficult to navigate. I did not know where to go and kept getting brought back to the same page. The ability to search for At Home classes is limited (more on that next).

Second, I tried out a few recorded classes and found them way too difficult, even though they were marked as "medium". There did not seem to be any way to search for classes by difficulty, and the classes did not offer any modification or introduction for people who aren't already skilled dancers. Of course, I understand that the site is catering to people with dance experience, and I can't expect everything to be tailored to my low dance ability. But I was still shocked at how completely inaccessible the site is for people with little to no dance experience.

Most importantly, the 305 At Home site advertises an opportunity to try it "free" for 3 days, but I later realized that my credit card had been charged for a monthly membership THE SAME DAY THAT I SIGNED UP! That is not how "free trials" usually work.

Even worse, they make it almost impossible to cancel. I decided to cancel within an hour after signing up because of how bad my experience was with the website and classes. It was very difficult to find the link to cancel the membership (see bad website) and there is nothing in the FAQ about membership cancellation. But anyway, I eventually found the hidden link and clicked "cancel membership". A message said my request had been submitted and I would receive a confirmation within 2~3 days. It has been more than 3 days and I never received an email to confirm my cancellation. Worse, they do not send an automated email when you submit the cancellation request, so you have no way to prove that it was even submitted.
